My 15 year old little prince. I've had him most of my life, and he is my soulmate. He loves to raise his white paws to beckon you to his command, whether that be to give him treats or simply head pats. But he's very polite, and will thank you for the gesture. He always responds when spoken to.
Gingerbread
A rescue tortoiseshell cat. We've had her for about 2 years now, and have learned she doesn't like men ; even me at first, but now she will sleep behind my head and always in my spot in the bed when I'm not there. She's kind to leave if she sees me coming to bed, with her signature trill. We had found her emaciated in the backyard, my mother was barbecuing in the winter and screamed when she saw her trying to crawl under our fence in the cold. I ran out of the shower hearing my mother scream and we got the poor angel into the house as fast as possible. We think she was abused by a man before she was abandoned. It took a long time for her to realize she was safe here, and now she adores belly rubs on her favourite cat tower that wiggles around a lot. We named her Marble bc she always has pretty round eyes.
Marble
My 5 year old Pug Pekanese mix. He is quite the rascal, but also extremely cuddly. As I type this he is loudly snoring against my leg. He likes to push you off the bed, but he's also completely fine with being rolled over. He's always got things to complain about in his dadhood, though coming from me, the dude who walks him, he's always loved barking at people. He did recently learn how to close doors though! It's just geting HIM to remember to do it. His belly rules him and his face rivals that of Jim Carrey or Jerma. He was born October 27th, 2019.
Ollie
Our 3 and a quartre year old Shiatzu pup and mummy to the 5 pups. She's a sweet little darling who has very demure expressions when she wants attention. She loves to be held like a baby and nuzzle her head into yours. Like her babies, she loves to give kisses and is very polite.
Bella
The last born of the pups, Lucy, also known as Socks, is a sassy little girl that most resembles her mama. She's always yapping at us and her siblings, and likes to start playful spars with her siblings. We were going to name her Socks, since she has a white sock on each foot. But as she's grown they're less apparent, her paws are pink and spotted with black dots. The 5th pup was born at 12:22pm, 01/16/2025.
Lucy
The fourth born pup and the only boy, Bear is just that. He's so gentle-natured and malleable he is practically a live teddy bear. He is from what I understand, a rare pure black Shiatzu. He will always greet you with a ton of kisses, and is always carrying large items bigger than him in his mouth as he trots about. He also tugs on fabric and blankets to drag them around too. He loves wrestling with Sandy. He was born at 12:11pm.
Bear
The first born of the babies, and the largest at the time, Sable is an excitable lil ball of love. She has a tendency to jump on your face to nibble on your nose or earlobes but we've been teaching her to calm down. That was mostly just when she was still feeding off Bella. When you pick her up, she lunges and will kiss you all over your face almost erratically. She has so much love to give. She most resembles her dad, aside from fur colour. She has frosted tip paws. She was born at 11:20am.
Sable
The third born pup, and also more like her father, Shadow is a sweet silly little girl who is always exploring and wandering. She loves rolling onto her back to show off her white and pink belly. The pink looks like a heart. She has socks too! Every time I take pictures of her she looks quite sassy. She was born at 11:45 am.
Shadow
The second born, and the fluffiest, Sandy is the only tan coloured baby of the litter. She's also the most Pug-like, but with very long hair. You always hear her coming bc you'll hear snorts and sputters akin to a puggle like herself. She's also always on her back. Whether if it's for humans to rub it, or her siblings to climb all over her and play. A gust of wind could go through the house and she'd just roll. I'm obsessed with kissing her fluffy little face. She was born at 11:30 am.
